The 2021 Jaguar E-PACE is redesigned with fresh exterior and interior upgrades. Jaguar also made significant improvements to the chassis for enhanced driving dynamics, passenger comfort, and overall convenience
Jaguar equips all trims with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It’s what the manufacturer does to the engine to differentiate power between the trims. The version powering the P250 and P250SE models generates 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque.
A high-output version of this same engine benefits from a mild hybrid system, which makes a net 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. In every application, power is sent to all four wheels utilizing a 9-speed automatic transmission. The all-wheel-drive system evenly divides torque between the front and rear wheels, as necessary.
The compact E-PACE offers room for up to five. Despite its spacious interior, this Jaguar is ideal for four.
The standard storage space measures 24.2 cubic feet or just over 52 cubic feet with the rear seat folded. That puts this small Jaguar near the top of its class.
The Jaguar E-PACE comes with several standard driver-assist safety features including automatic emergency braking, active lane control, and front and rear parking sensors. All trims offer the new ClearSight Interior Rear View Mirror technology for an unobstructed view of the road behind.
Other features are extra and are included in select trims or are available in package upgrades. These include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, active parking assist, and traffic sign recognition.
The E-PACE’s standard tech package includes an 11.4-inch touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay and Android smartphone compatibility, two USB ports in the first row, three USB ports in the second row, a wireless charging alcove, and Bluetooth. A 12-speaker audio system is included.
Navigation, 12.3-inch digital dashboard, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 14-speaker Meridian audio system, and a head-up display are available.
