Singapore-based contemporary pop artist – I Am Not David Lee‘s works are re-imaginations of images of cartoon characters.

For the “LOOK” series, I Am Not David Lee transforms Ash Ketchum – a character of the Pokémon anime into unique hand-painted art pieces that he feels exist in our world, looking out of the cartoon virtual reality.

His works was recently exhibited at Takashimaya – His solo-exhibition titled – Four Letter Work explores “Perceptions” in art, society and life
